Ellis is a young London based producer who quickly made a name for himself within the wider electronic house scene, with steady releases like ‘Clear My Head’ and his viral remix of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ stacking over 70 million total views on YouTube today.
We have created artwork for Ellis since 2019.
We work closely with Ellis’ team to create artwork for each upcoming release. Since 2019 we have created artwork and assets for Keep Me Awake, Falling Through, Colours and Feel That Way.
In 2020 we creatively directed all visual content for Ellis’ debut EP - Recollection Prospective.
The visuals for Recollection Prospective are inspired by Y2K & 00’s imagery, technology and design. We designed the EP artwork and 2 lead single covers, as well as social assets and teaser videos throughout the whole campaign. Using chrome typography, metallic gradients & abstract futuristic detail shots, we were inspired by 00’s visuals and what people used to think the future would look like back in the 2000s.
3 VIDEOS: DIRECTED, EDITED AND SHOT IN ISOLATION FROM 3 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.
We edited 2 lyric videos for ‘Don’t Say Ur Sorry’ and ‘Brand New Phone’ - using VHS & 2000s tech references.
The official music video for ‘Speak Francais’ was directed and shot in lockdown from 3 different countries, using 00’s cameras and home-shot footage by Ellis and featured artist, Noep.
The website for the EP was inspired by Y2K computer operating systems.
To fit with the 00’s theme, we designed and created a fully interactive desktop themed website. New features and exclusive content were added each week over a 3 month campaign to promote each release.
